Greece Project Site Dust and Sand Test Chamber Installation Progressing Smoothly

Sep 23, 2026

LIB's MIL-STD-810H Method 510 Dust and Sand Test Chamber and IEC60529 IP5X/IP6X Dust and Sand Test Chamber are being installed smoothly at the Greece project site. This project introduces advanced environmental simulation equipment to help verify the durability and sealing performance of electronic components, automotive parts, and industrial equipment under harsh dust and sand environments.

With strict compliance with international standards including MIL-STD-810H, IEC 60529, ISO 20653, IEC 60068-2-68, and ASTM, LIB Dust and Sand Test Chambers can realistically reproduce high-concentration dust environments to support reliable product testing and quality verification.

【LIB Delivers Advanced Dust and Sand Testing Solutions for Harsh Environments】

Modern products are increasingly required to maintain stable performance in challenging environments. From military equipmentDust and Sand Test Chamber

operating in desert regions to electronic systems exposed to airborne dust and abrasive sand, reliable dust protection testing is essential for long-term durability.

LIB's IP5X/6X Dust and Sand Test Chamber provides a controlled environment to evaluate product sealing performance and resistance against dust penetration.

The test chamber features an efficient dust and sand circulation system that prevents particle clumping and ensures stable, uniform test conditions for accurate results.

Built with a SUS304 stainless steel inner chamber and corrosion-resistant A3 steel outer shell, the equipment supports long-term stable operation even under demanding testing conditions.

The PID programmable touchscreen controller supports up to 120 programs, remote monitoring, PCLink, and USB data export, enabling users to easily complete complex test procedures.

Additional safety and operation features, including a windshield-equipped observation window, built-in lighting, and an electromagnetic door lock, provide convenient real-time monitoring and reliable testing operation.

【MIL-STD-810H Method 510 Testing Capability for Dust and Sand Resistance Verification】

MIL-STD-810H Method 510 evaluates equipment performance when exposed to airborne dust and sand. The standard includes differentDust and Sand Test Chamber procedures for blowing dust, blowing sand, and dust settling environments.

For blowing dust testing, the chamber simulates fine dust exposure with particles smaller than 150 μm. For blowing sand testing, it evaluates the impact of larger particles from 150 μm to 850 μm under airflow conditions up to 18–29 m/s.

LIB MIL-STD-810H Dust and Sand Test Chamber uses high-power airflow design and reinforced ducts to maintain uniform airflow across the test area. It can achieve sand impact airflow up to 29 m/s while maintaining controlled testing conditions.

The system also provides precise particle size control with calibrated mesh systems, including a 75 μm sieve for talcum dust testing and a 150 μm sieve for quartz sand testing, ensuring repeatable and accurate results.
