Why is it necessary to test car switches?
As cars become more and more highly automated, many functions converge in a variety of switches that can be operated with a series of complex operations at the touch of a finger. Switches are undoubtedly very important for automobiles. Some switches play an important role, and once they fail, driving safety will not be guaranteed. This test is meaningful both for the sake of ensuring driving safety and improving the driving experience.
General temperature and humidity test standard for automotive switches
Test conditions: temperature 23±5℃, relative humidity 45%~75%, air pressure 86~106kPa, test voltage accuracy should not be less than 0.5 level, ammeter accuracy not less than 1.0 level, withstand voltage test transformer capacity should not be less than 0.5kVA
Low-temperature test: 23±5℃→-40±3℃ (keep 2h in non-working condition)
High-temperature test: 23±5℃→the highest working environment temperature (keep 2h)
Temperature change test: The specimen is kept at -40±3℃ temperature for 2h to take out, then put into the high temperature environment corresponding to the standard specified value for 2h, and cycle 5 times.
Humidity and heat test:
①The test product is put into the environment with humidity of 45%~75% and temperature of 25±3℃ until the temperature of the test product is stable, then the relative humidity is increased to 95%~100% within 1h.
② 40±2℃ was lowered to 25±3℃ within -3~6h, and the relative humidity during this period was not lower than 95% except for the initial 15 min which was not lower than 90%.
③Keep the temperature at 25±3℃ and relative humidity not less than 95% for 24h cycle.

Low temperature test: 23±5℃→-40±3℃, keep 24h
High temperature test: 23±5℃→70±3℃, keep 24h
Alternating temperature test:
Temperature: -40 ℃ -70 ℃ range in accordance with the speed of change, a cycle time: 8 hours, 30 times a cycle
TuB (low temperature limit working temperature) = -40℃ , ToB (high temperature limit working temperature) = 70℃
Damp heat test:
Temperature upper limit: +55℃, cycle times: 6 times
① 25 ± 3 ℃ → 55 ℃, to (3 ± 0.5) h to reach, the relative air humidity is not allowed to be less than 95%, the last 15min is not allowed to be less than 90%
②55℃→(25℃±3), to be reached by 3h to 16h drop.
