We test the protective properties of parts, electronic components, metal materials and salt spray corrosion test of industrial products by salt spray corrosion test chamber. Today, we will share with you the common solution preparation methods.

1. Preparation of neutral salt spray solution for salt spray resistance tester
The pH of the test solution was measured at 35℃ using PH test paper of 6.5 ~7.5. The chemically pure chlorinated Na is dissolved in the third-grade water conforming to ASTM B-117, and the concentration is (50±10) g/L. When it is out of range, it can be adjusted by adding analytical hydrochloric acid or hydrogen chloride solution.
(The prepared solution should be filtered before use.)
2.Preparation of salt spray test machine acetate spray solution
The range of preparation of this solution should be 3.1 ~ 3.3. Firstly, the chemically pure chlorinated Na is dissolved in the third-grade water conforming to ASTM B-117, the concentration is (50±10) g/L, and then the pH value of the solution is adjusted with acetic acid so as to be in the range of 3.1 ~3.3. The collected salt spray samples were measured.
(The pH should be measured at 35℃, The prepared solution should be filtered before use.)
3. Preparation of copper accelerated acetic acid
Step one, chemically pure chlorinated Na solution mix in accordance with ASTM B-117 tertiary water the concentration of (50±10) g/L. Then, reagent grade copper dichloride CuCl2 was added to 3.8L of brine for dissolution and thorough mixing. Finally, the pH of the solution was adjusted with acetic acid to a value in the range of 3.1~3.3, which was measured using the collected salt spray samples.
(The pH should be measured at 50 °C. The prepared solution should be filtered before use)
