Dashboard
European car dashboards generally use ABS / PC and reinforced PP as the main materials; American car dashboards mostly use styrene / maleic anhydride SMA. These materials have low prices, heat resistance and impact resistance, and have good comprehensive performance. ; The dashboard of Japanese cars used ABS and reinforced PP materials. At present, it is mainly glass fiber reinforced SAN, and sometimes modified PPE with better heat resistance is also used.
Door trim panel
The structure of the door inner panel is basically similar to the instrument panel, and is composed of a skeleton, foam and leather. Taking Hongqi cars and Audi cars as an example, the frame part of the door inner panel is made of ABS injection molding, and then vacuum forming is used to compound the knitted polyester skin lined with PU foam material on the frame to form an integrated body. The low-pressure injection compression molding method is to put the skin material on the polypropylene blank that has not been solidified, and then compress it to form the door inner panel. The skin material is TPO lined with PP soft foam layer, which is easy to recycle and regenerate. The door inner panel of the mid-to-low-end cars can be a simple structure of composite knitting on the surface of wood powder filled modified PP sheet or waste fiber laminate, that is, there is no foam buffer structure, and some trucks even use a door with a layer of PVC artificial leather directly. Inner plate.
Direction board
The steering wheel is generally made of self-skinned rigid PU foam material with high or low pressure foaming. The steering wheel structure is required to be upright, strong, light, tough outside and soft inside, and be heat-resistant, cold-resistant, light-resistant and wear-resistant. Therefore, the coating is mostly made of modified PP, PVC, PU, ABS and other resins. The skeleton is generally made of steel skeleton and aluminum injection. Considering the light weight, there is also a trend of replacing the iron core with glass fiber reinforced PA.
Ceiling
The interior ceiling of the car is a composite laminate product with the most materials and varieties in the interior parts. In addition to its decorative function, it also has special functions such as heat insulation and sound insulation. The ceiling is generally composed of a base material and a skin. The base material needs to have the characteristics of light weight, high rigidity, stable size, and easy forming. For this purpose, thermoplastic polyurethane foamed internal materials, PP foamed internal materials, thermoplastic felt internal materials, Fiberglass corrugated paper, honeycomb plastic tape, etc.
The skin material can be fabric, non-woven fabric, TPO, PVC, etc. Car roofs in China generally use TPO foamed sheet, glass fiber, non-woven polyester cloth materials for lamination.
