What is the IPX3 waterproof test?
The test of IPX3 is "spraying water from the vertical direction to any side until it is inclined to 60 degrees, without harmful effects",
IPX3 Waterproof Test Applicable Scope
IPX3 Test Chamber is mainly used for testing the physical and other related properties of electronic and electrical products, lamps, electric cabinets, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles and their parts and components under simulated rainy weather conditions.
After the test, check to judge whether the performance of the product meets the requirements, so as to facilitate the design, improvement, verification and factory inspection of the product.

LIB IPX3 Waterproof Test Test Method
1. Sample placement: Select a swing tube with an appropriate radius, so that the height of the sample table is at the diameter of the swing tube, and place the sample on the sample table so that the distance from the top to the sample water nozzle is not more than 200mm.
2. Test conditions: The water flow rate is calculated according to the number of water spray holes of the swing pipe, and each hole is 0.07 L/min. When spraying water, spray water from the water spray holes in the 60° arcs on both sides of the midpoint of the swing pipe to the sample. The sample to be tested is placed in the center of the semicircle of the swing tube. The swing tube swings 60° on both sides of the vertical line, a total of 120°. Each swing (2×120°) is about 4s.
3. Test time: continuous water spraying for 10 minutes.
4. Judgment of results: IPX3 refers to preventing the intrusion of sprayed water, preventing rain or preventing water sprayed in a direction with an angle of less than 60° from the vertical from entering the appliance and causing damage. Water or rain has no effect on the casing from a 60-degree corner It is determined to pass the IPX3 waterproof test.
