What warranty and after-sales support come with Humidity Environmental Test Chambers?

Oct 14, 2026

Test equipment that stops on day 40 of a 56 day damp heat test can cost you weeks of work and a missed launch date. The warranty and the service team decide how fast you get back to testing.

This article explains the warranty and after-sales support of Humidity Environmental Test Chambersfrom LIB Industry, how the equipment works, which standards it meets, and how it compares with IPX1 to IPX6 equipment.

How Humidity Environmental Test Chambers Work

How the Equipment Controls Humidity

The equipment holds temperatures from -70 °C to +150 °C and humidity from 20% to 98% RH, with a deviation of ±2.5% RH. A fan moves air through the workroom so every shelf sees the same conditions, with temperature variation within ±2.0 °C. Humidity is read in one of two ways. The wet gauze method pairs a wet gauze with a PT100 Class A temperature probe and calculates relative humidity. It is low cost and accurate. A capacitive probe reads humidity directly but needs precise calibration, so it is used to calibrate Thermometers and Hygrometers. Gauze holds water, so ozone and toxic gas test equipment also uses capacitive probes.

Measurement Canada Case: Research and Product Performance Testing

From June 2 to June 6, 2026, LIB Industry installed a TH-080C walk-in Humidity Environmental Test Chamber for Measurement Canada. After two TH-1000 reach-in unitsHumidity Environmental Test Chamber and high satisfaction, Measurement Canada returned to add walk-in capacity for research and product performance tests. Each unit is built step by step, from steel plate and precision sheet metal work to assembly, performance testing and pre-shipment inspection, so quality stays consistent. A typical IEC 60068-2-78 run goes like this:

① Measure the sample at room conditions.

② Set 40 °C ±2 °C and 93% RH.

③ Hold for 4, 10, 21 or 56 days.

④ Let the sample recover for 1 to 2 hours.

⑤ Measure again and compare with step ①.

Measurement Canada values the equipment for these reasons:

① Safety: CSA label, CSA compliant electrical parts, CE and IEC safety design, plus over-temperature, water shortage, earth leakage and phase sequence protection.

② Accuracy: ±0.5 °C fluctuation, ±2.5% RH and PT100 Class A sensors.

③ Free customization: cable holes, optical ports, extra shelves and more.

④ Peace of mind: 3 year warranty, lifetime service, and patient, skilled engineers.

⑤ Easy to learn: on-site training for operators.

⑥ Long life: SUS304 stainless steel inside resists corrosion.

⑦ Good value: complete electrical drawings, a detailed bill of materials and a strict check at every build step.

Humidity Environmental Test Chambers vs IPX1 to IPX6 Environmental Test Chambers

Humidity equipment tests moisture in the air. IPX equipment tests liquid water hitting the enclosure. Many automotive and outdoor products need both.

Choose humidity equipment if your product lives in damp, hot or cold air. Choose IPX equipment if rain, splashes or washing can reach it. If you are unsure, start from how your product fails in the field. A sensor that drifts after a humid summer needs a test such as 85 °C and 85% RH. A camera that leaks after a storm needs IPX5 or IPX6.
