Filiform Accelerated Test Chamber is one kind of constant temperature and humidity test chamber, whose working principle is the built-in microcomputer receives the data from the temperature and humidity sensors, and gives instructions to adjust the temperature and humidity. Application
Filiform corrosion is a special form of corrosion that occurs on the surface of thin coatings in randomly distributed threads like fine wires. Filiform corrosion is also known as sub-film corrosion, filiform corrosion or worm track corrosion. Filamentous corrosion is severe in warm coastal areas and tropical regions that experience a drop in salt or severe industrial pollution. Filamentous corrosion always begins with coating defects such as scratches and weak links (cracks, cuts and holes, etc., ) The relative humidity of the atmosphere is the most important factor causing filamentous corrosion.
Other major parameters controlling filamentous corrosion are alloy composition, denudation of ingot and billet, heat treatment, metal surface condition, temperature, pickling, and preliminary surface treatment. Although the temperature plays a small role in the initiation of filamentous corrosion, the interactive effect of combined temperature and humidity on filiform corrosion is more significant than the effect of single humidity if the relative humidity is kept within the critical range.

Lock:
There are three types of locks available for our test chambers. Manual locks, electromagnetic locks and locks with keys. For the TH series, it comes standard with manual bidirectional locks.

Sample Shelf:
The standard load of each layer of the sample rack is 50KG, and the total load of the two layers of the sample rack is 100 KG. The height of the sample rack can be adjusted and can be disassembled directly.
