IPX1 to IPX6 Compliance with International Standards Ensures Data Authority
The waterproof shower chamber performs in accordance with IEC 60529.
IPX1: Drip rate of 1 mm/min for at least 10 minutes; specimen mounted on a rotating turntable at 1 rpm.
IPX2: Same drip rate, tested at 15° tilt in four directions for 2.5 minutes each (total 10 minutes).
IPX3: Oscillating tube sprays water with ±60° swing, hole diameter 0.4 mm, nozzle spacing 50 mm, spray rate 0.07 L/min per hole; test duration no less than 10 minutes.
IPX4: Swing angle extended to ±180°, other parameters same as IPX3, simulates more severe splash conditions.
IPX5: Equipped with special nozzle, 6.3 mm orifice, water flow 12.5 ± 0.625 L/min, pressure 30–100 kPa, spray distance 2.5–3 m, minimum 3 minutes covering all specimen surfaces.
IPX6: 12.5 mm nozzle diameter, 100 ± 5 L/min flow, pressure 100 ± 5 kPa, same spray distance as IPX5, duration at least 3 minutes.

- Method name: Intense water spray test
- Test equipment: the inner diameter of the spray nozzle of the nozzle is 12.5 mm
- Test conditions: Place the test sample 2.5 to 3 meters away from the spray nozzle with a water flow rate of 100 liters per minute (6,000 liters per hour).
- Test time: 1 minute per square meter (not including installation area), at least 3 minutes, based on the surface area of the sample shell to be tested
