Battery Salt Spray Test

Requirements: There is no leakage, shell crack, fire or explosion in the battery pack or system.

The salt solution is prepared with sodium chloride and distilled or deionized water

● The concentration is: 5±0.1%.

● Temperature: measured at 20±2℃

● The PH value is between 6.5 and 7.2.

1.Put the test object into the salt spray device and spray the salt spray at 15℃~35℃ for 2h.

2. After spraying, transfer the test object to a hot and humid chamber for 20h-22h, with a temperature of (40±2)℃ and a relative humidity of (93±3)%, forming a cycle.

3. Cycle 3 times, and then store for 3 days under the test standard atmospheric temperature of (23±2)℃ and relative humidity of 45%~55% to form a cycle.

4. Repeat the test for 4 cycles.
